Blackberry Cellphone damaged

I dropped off my Blackberry Curve 9360 cellphone at Nashua Mobile, Pavillion on Saturday, 13.07.2013.
The screen had lines all over it so I was advised that the LCD is damaged. I was also advised that I must have dropped my cellphone? Ya, right!
I was advised that I will receive feedback in 3 weeks time.
I then decided to call the Nashua store at Pavillion on Tuesday, 16.07.2013 and was advised that it will take 21 working days to determine whether or not the phone is repairable.
I'm sorry but it just does not sit well with me knowing that I will be inconvenienced for 21 working days because the Technical Department at Nashua needs 21 working days to decide whether or not to replace my cellphone. I am a Claims Consultant for a well established Insurance Company and I replace damaged cellphones for my Customers on a daily basis. My Suppliers provide me with a Damage report within 48 hours of the phone being delivered to them so please tell me how is it that a Reputable organisation such as Nashua Mobile needs 21 working days to determine whether or not a cellphone is repairable, sorry but I find this difficult to understand and accept!
