Last week on the 5th of july 2013 round about 5pm i needed to make a very urgent call to my parents down in durban so as per normal i tried picked up the phone thinking everything is still working to my surprise i noticed the line was dead no tone at all so i thought maybe the cord is out so i checked the cord but everything was still fine there is nothing wrong on my side i even took my house phone to my neighbour's house plugged it in & the phone was working. No one from telkom called me up until this day explaining why they cut my line or what happened. Im extremely furious with telkom and thinking of closing my account with them and taking my business else where by i will receive excellent customer service and actually be treated like a customer. As a customer of telkom i don't appreciate this kind of treatment, i make sure my yearly fees are paid up before the required date. If the matter is not resolved ASAP with no charge to me what so ever, Treated this as matter of urgency i will have no choice to exercise my rights as a customer follow the TCF (Treating Customers Fairly) PRINCIPLES as well as go to the ombudsman for further assistance.i look forward to a positive response
