I had a Telkom line installed at my house 6 months ago, the salesman on the phone was great and eager to sell me this great package, so i decided that a phone line at home is not a bad idea as i am starting up a small business from home, my words to the sales consultant was... install the line and i will contact you once i need it active, "YES Sir, that is fine, it is like DSTV if you don't pay it does not work... Happy with this arrangement they arrived at my house within a week and the line was installed, no phone left at the house as promised by the consultant but anyways... service was efficient and i started thinking... where is the bad service that i always hear about telkom, because this has been great... 4 months ago i receive a bill in the mailbox for telkom... you account has been suspended due to non payment... strange never had the account activated, so i phoned them and explained it to them and the lady said no problem sir, the amount will be credited and the line will be deactivated their mistake, once again great service, now i owe TELKOM R890 account suspended for non payment... TELKOM YOU and you need a lesson in listening to the customer.
