On the 27th of December i sent my Blackberry in for repairs, it has conectivity issues towards the BIS network, i got an sms on the 4th of January stating that i could get it from the store, upon testing the phone it had not been repaired. All that was done to the phone was a software update, after i specifically stated to the consultant that a software update would not fix the problem. On the same day i had booked in my phone again to be repaired, i was told that it would take 7 to 10 days, i waited 10 days and went back to the store, the phone was not yet received. On the following day i called the repair centre to enquire about the phone, i was told by them that they had only received it on the 17th of january. I know MTN uses RTT and RTT does not take 10 days to make a delivery! I would like someone to contact me with an explanation as to why the phone was not sent to the repair centre sooner and why i must wait for more then 2 weeks for my phone. I have been without my phone for nearly a month and now i wasted R60 for BIS that im not able to use because my phone was not fixed the first time. I would like some sort of compensation for this and my phone back before the 24th.
