DURING APRIL 2013 I APPLIED FOR A NEW LINE AT MY GRAHAMSTOWN RESIDENTIAL ADDRESS. I WAS TOLD BY TELKOM THAT IT WOULD BE INSTALLED BEFORE END APRIL 2013. WHEN NOTHING HAPPENED I CONTACTED TELKOM WHO ADVISED THAT THE ORDER NUMBER WAS CANCELLED. I WAS NEVER INFORMED. I WAS ONCE AGAIN GIVEN A DATE FOR INSTALLATION, BUT ONCE AGAIN NO ONE PITCHED AND ONCE AGAIN I AS NOT INFORMED AS TO WHY. I ASKED FOR A CERTAIN DATE FOR INSTALLATION WHICH WAS ALLOWED, BUT STILL NO ONE PITCHED ON 05 JULY 2013. I ONCE AGAIN PHONED TO FIND OUT WHY AND WAS THEN TOLD THAT THE SECURITY AT THE PREMISES NEEDED A LETTER OF AUTH FROM RHODES WHOM I PURCHASED THE PROPERTY FROM. I WAS ONCE AGAIN NOT INFORMED. I WAS THEN PUT THROUGH TO ANOTHER DEPARTMENT AND SPOKE TO GAULA WHO CHECKED THE SYSTEM AND INFORMED ME THAT THE INSTALLATION IS STILL SCHEDULED FOR 05/07/2013. I WAITED AT THE PREMISES ALL DAY BUT ONCE AGAIN THE SERVICE WAS NOT INSTALLED. WHEN I PHONED TELKOM TODAY THEY ADVISED THAT THE INFRASTRUCTURE NEEDED TO BE UPDATED AND THEY DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO INSTALL THE LINE . THE APPOINTM WAS MOVED TO 10/07/2013. NOT INFORMED AGAIN! WHO SAID I WAS AVAILABLE ON THE NEW DATE? THIS IS RIDICULOUS! HELP ME
