I cancelled my contract telephonicaly sometime last year because of what Cell C is best known of, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE (No wonder they can't keep up with the competition). I then promised to continue paying my account until end of term as that was the agreement. The person I spoke to NEVER explained to me that I need to cancel in writing.

After the end of term (May 2013) I then called Cell C to confirm if they actioned my cancellation (that was the 10th of June 2013, I was then told that I should do it in writing. I now asked the consultant if I will get my refund as he said that my account has already been debited, he said YES, I will get my refund. Now I'm phoning CELL C to find out when i will receive my R100 refund, I am now told that I will not get it. Congratulations CELL C on your journey of loosing more customers - I'm sure you know what WORD OF MOUTH can do to your business.

On the 04th of July I phone again to make a follow-up, I was told that the guy I spoke to on the 10th will listen to the tape (to confirm if he told me I will get my refund) and get back to me, I still have not heard from CELL C
