Pathetic Service from Telkom

So its been 4 almost 5 months now and still no resolution has come to fruition. About 4 months back we had an issue with out landline. We were unable to make any phonecalls as the receiver was completely dead. We were then told it was an area problem. After Telkom had come to the area to restore the fault, our landline was still not working. After consulting with them, they told us out phone was faulty and needed to be replaced. A week later we replaced the phone only to discover that the phone still wasnt working. After logging the complaint and 4 different technicians being sent, they then discover the line is faulty. After numerous calls, numerous sms's and (the cherry on top) receiving an sms that the issue was resolved, we are still sitting with a phone that we cannot use. This is incompetence and pathetic service at its best. Not forgetting a pre-paid account that is suspended because we cannot recharge due to the inability to use the phone due to Telkom's inadequate skills in customer care. I really hope something will come of this. It cannot go on any longer. I have a sick mother who needs a telephone at her disposal should anything happen but obviously thats not possible.
