I contacted Cell C to inform them of a change in my banking details, I was advised that it would not be possible to take instructions mid month and that a manual payment had to be made as their system only allows the details to be given to them two months in advance. Then sometime in June I was contact by one of Cell C's employees to discuss payment options at the time was also informed that manual payment should be made for May and June as the debit order would only take effect at the end of July. Surprise surprise what do you know Cell C can actually take debit order instructions and carry them out without needing two months notice of banking account changes. It is acceptable to discuss a manual payment with me telephonically twice by two different employees at Cell C then decided to debit my account anyway. Effectively you have taken twice the amount owed to you. Please advise when this money will be returned to my account or should this become and icasa complaint?
