Why Won't Discovery change Banking Details

My son and I have both had the same problem on separate occasions. We notified Discovery Health via the call centre that we have changed banks at least three weeks prior to debit order date. They are all very helpful and pleasant on the phone but then do nothing. Because my son made me aware of his problem, (it took three months before they corrected his debit order details) I checked my new bank account to see if the debit order had come off. It hadn't. I called them to advise them of the situation and suggested I do a manual payment. The agent told me that the money HAD come off the new bank account. I waited another week, checked again, still no deduction. I phoned them again and asked for the necessary banking detail so that I could do a manual payment which I did. The day after I did the manual payment I received notification from them that my account has been suspended. Stress levels shoot up - not a good healthy situation.
