No response from Telkom with ongoing fault

Fault no 536CWK280613 remains open. For weeks now I have had on and off service with telephone. Twice a technician has come. The fault comes back. I re-lodge. Someone phoned me, promised to phone back in 2 minutes and 5 days later still waiting. No telephone and stuck isolated in the mountains. They tell me that my phone is engaged signal - not put down properly. I have told them it is down. The woman said she would have to talk to someone and get back to me in 2 minutes. Of course she has not. Also, as everyone is aware, when checking status of a fault, Telkom asks you not to respond - automated message. I am not totally fed up. Either the technician they have sent has not done his job or is incapable of doing it. Normally he has come within 24 hours. He 'locates' the fault, says it is fixed, and it remains fixed for perhaps a day. Then he is back again. Third time appears strike out - Telkom just does not care although my account with them is over R700 a month
