I got ADSL from Telkom Shop in Carletonville, the sales man told me i will only pay R399 for 5 GB PM, Fast 1 mbps broadband and includes Free Landline rental, ADSL line etc, its not a contract, i applied for it and was shocked when the bill came with R1356 they included R399 (ADSL) and Rentals, usage and sales on my billing, i was never told about those as separate costs, i was deceived by the sales man and Telkom, i made a debit order of R500 just to be on a safe side when i started, .i raised the over billing with telkom and they did nothing untill i decided to stop the ADSL and cancel, i also instucted my bank not to give them my money until they sort out my Concerns, i called them again an was told Telkom they will investigate and get back to me, to my Suprise i was handed over to Debt collectors instead of calling me back with feedback, they now tempering with my Credit record, how fair is this? i told them i dont mind paying but i should pay what we agreed about not Tripple what we agreed about, i was shocked that the R399 did not even include VAT, even now they busy handing me over instead of calling me like they promised and explain their billing to me and, i was Deceived and Scamed
