I cancelled a contract with Nashua Mobile in January effective in December (date contract expired). I called the call centre today to confirm the cancellation due to devious business practices. The call centre clerk said that their system had rejected the cancellation order! He also informed me to submit a new cancellation form, which would mean that the the contract will only be cancelled end ofJanuary. I refused to do this and insisted that they cancel the contract as per cancellation form submitted and received by them in January. After putting me on hold for 5 minutes, he said that the contract will be cancelled as per my instruction dated and received in January. I requested an email confirmation; the email indicated that the contract will be cancelled after 1 month's notice and that a final account will be sent after 15 days (from the 31st of Dec). This contract is a "topup" contract so the final invoice should be the 30th of November - the company charges in advance. I have already requested twice via email that an explanation of the charges that will be levied on the final account, but to no avail! Please assist me to ensure that I am not charged for additional month.
