So disappointed with mtn

I am paying for a Samsung S2 on contract with mtn. I had to blacklist my phone at the end of last year when it went missing. My phone was recovered a week later and so I tried to unblacklist the phone through mtn yet the phone still didn't work. Mtn then told me that the phone needed to be sent off for repairs. I did not have my phone for a month. When I got my phone back, it still didn't work. I took the phone back to mtn Pavillion countless times and they told me that they could not find the problem. I felt so frustrated I even cried at one of the counters as I was told that they did not know what was wrong with my phone and did not offer any extra help. After countless attempts to find out what was wrong with my phone, mtn lost interest in my problem and I was basically sent home with a shrug. After spending about two months with a phone that could not be used, I sent a long and pleading email to mtn customer service. Someone phoned back and sorted out my phone. Mtn Pavillion offered little support and now that I have requested compensation for those three months, I have been told that at least I got to use the airtime. Thoroughly disgusted.
