Our ADSL line was installed in the end May/beginning June 2013. Since installation we have battled terribly and lines are extremely intermittent. I logged a fault 579Crk 200613. A tech came to check last Monday. Still faulty. I have escalated this fault numerous times - 526247. I have been advised that if the Telkom exchange is is more than 5 kms away from location of installation, this causes tremendous problems and that the line will never be steady. I am trying to run a business and at times like this (month end) it can be extremely frustrating and stressful! If you cannot offer me good service, why get me to sign a contract!!!
