I had a Cell C contract which was cancelled 3 years back at the Hatfield branch. On request of cancellation I told that I was in arrears with R100 and that the contract cannot be cancelled befor the monies was paid. I paid the money and cancelled the contract at the Hatfield branch within the same week. Now after 3 years I receive a sms that Im going t be handed over for R125.08. For 3 years I hear nothing, the contact has been cancelled, I havent been billed so how is it possible that I can close my account but be in arears? When I spoke to Nare at the call centre, she had a lazy no care bad attitude: "are you going to send us the proof or what? " This is ridiculous for a callcentre operator to have such an attitude, people are upset over nonsence like this and the person on the other side of the line should provoke one more with such an attitued. "or what"
Speak to me like im a person please. This whole story is Ridiculous!!! Cell C could have phoned me, they are a network provider after all, but to keep quiet for 3 years and then want to hand me over for their incompetance is outrageous, and they call themselfs the "leading cellular brand"??? Never again in my life!
