We engaged in a data contract 4 years ago (2009) where at that time 40MB contract including a datastick was R126 per month. The contract expired 24 months ago but ofcourse with no reason to cancel we continued to keep the service.

Since then, data pricing has been reduced and I found that my contract still unchanged. After some research, I have found that one can get 2Gig of data from the same service provider for R119 per month. Neither the Store or the call centre has advised me of price reductions so that my "contract" can be adjusted accordingly.

I tried to call the customer care line but was not able to discuss this issue with them as it was told to me that I was responsible for following up on the latest product offerings so that I could adjust it to my requirements.

However frequent calls are made to my multiple numbers with attempts to sell me new lines or instruments.

I find it quite concerning that in this competitive market, we still have service providers with these unethical behavioural standards.

I have just one comment:

Well done Myanmar on not granting the license to this unethical organisation... at least theres one less country to rip off!!!
