BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU DO A CONTRACT UPGRADE WITH MTN

I was informed by MTN that my phone was due for an upgrade.
My account is rendered on the 11th of each month. Felix at MTN President Hyper was very friendly, did the upgrade, but when I requested a data transfer to the new phone, he "discovered" that BIS services on my new phone are unavailable and would remain so until the 11th. I need these services on a daily basis and requested the upgrade to be cancelled. Felix phoned several times for information and assistance, but subsequently told me that, even if the contract is cancelled, I will be disconnected from BIS services until the 11th. I find it impossible to comprehend the inability of MTN to put me in the position I have been before the upgrade. If I had been warned about that, I would have waited with the upgrade until the 11th! I will be out of the office next week, away from my computer and unable to access my emails. This will be most inconvenient and will have a financial impact on me. Felix agreed that he, himself, would have been most unhappy if he was in my shoes! I am disappointed, dissatisfied and downright angry.
