Still getting billed after account has been paidup

I closed and paid up my account on 29/05/2013. On 31/05/2013 MTN tried to take another debit order, which I have stopped. According to my account I just received, MTN claims that I still need to pay the R299 (which suddenly became R360 with interest and service charges) AFTER I settled my account. Explain please?

I'm writing this report after holding on since 8:52am (its now 9:20am) and nobody in the call centre seems to know how to answer a phone.

This is way they will never have a world class network. Poor service, pure incompetency, and unskilled employee's..
