Truworths
Account closed, still being billed

On the 04/04/2013 i paid up my account and requested it to be closed. The consultant that assisted me assured me that my account was paid up and closed. On the 10/4/2013 i received a statement showing that i was owing an amount of R43, 21, i went back to truworths southgate and queried the amount the consultant that assisted me called the call centre and informed me that it was the previous months interest that that was billed after the account was closed. I do not understand how an account that was closed can still be billed. I was told that i should pay the oustanding amount and that this would not happen again. I paid up the account and to my amazement the exact same thing happened the next month. Can some one please explain to me how this works because i am highly irrate and cannot and will not go to another truwoths branch to sort this out. If this outstanding balance reflects negativley on my credit record i will take this futher.
