I've been having issue with my internet for the last two weeks. The poor technician (Which is very intellectual and nice person) has spent literally the whole week at my house last week. Only to find out that the speed was never changed to a 4 MB line uncapped from a 2 MB line 20gig package. After I spent a lot of time on the phone to the pinnacle contact centre it was "resolved". Since then the problem has become worse! I now sit with internet speeds of between 0.4 MB per second and if I'm lucky I get 0.8 MB per second. This is unacceptable, what am I paying for? First I was told that uncapped clients get " throttled" to limit their downloads. It basically means that they reduce your speed. And then I was told it is because the network is busy at night, which, with all due respect is not my problem. I was also informed that I cannot get my full 4 MB per second speed because I am too far from the Exchange, but why am I then offered a serve which I cant have??

I am not happy, Telkom has always just been good to me and I never shared the public opinion of your poor service etc., but my opinion is starting to change now...
