Blackberry Q10 Smart package rip off

Switching from BBY9900 to Q10 and from a Talk 240 to Smart L is complete ripoff with NO explanation given by Vodacom on possible increases in running costs. I went from bill of R900 to R4800, mostly due 2 data usage. Vodacom's explanation: no BIS & therefore one pays for data costs. I have no issues with that, but how can one use so much data when only use of the Q10 is for emails (10-20Mb worth of data per day max thru my email); little internet browsing and little BBM. Yet Vodacom still charges me for BIS despite it not working on the Q10. Today had to buy 500Mb of data & within 3 hours I was told I has used 150-200Mb already. How is that possible when my TOTAL DATA SIZE of EMAILS for today was less than 10Mb?! Vodacom's answer: your phone is doing updates in the background. What? 150Mb of updates without telling me? Impossible as when updates are available, these appear in the BBY Hub.

I asked 2 revert to my previous phone & return Q10. Not possible as can only be done within 14 days of receiving the phone. Trying 2 argue that I only realised running costs and issues once I got my first bill. Thats irrelevant for Vodacom. I can cancel contract but need to pay full costs, R10k!
