Contract still "open" after 3 years

In 2008 I took a contract with Cell C.I chose to terminate it in 2010. I expressed this repeatedly to Cell C who insisted that they did not receive an indication of my intent to terminate. They finally accepted it on 17.09.2010. I paid in the balance as was confirmed in writing by Cell C.

Today I received a SMS from Pholosa, upon calling them I was transferred to 'Charlene' who is rude, aggressive, and crass! Despite informing her that I have confirmation from Cell C that I have terminated the contracted, she insisted that the account was still active. Dear Cell C and Pholosa, after confirmation of my termination of service what more would you like me to do. I could send you smoke signals, hieroglyphs an email perhaps?

I shudder to think how many people have been wrongfully black listed, had their credit ruined and their lives compromised. Please be advised Cell C - your adverts are great, your network OK and your client relations deplorable! I compare you currently to borrowing money from the mafia. The next time I need to be knee capped I know where to go. I task you to challenge your accounting departments to resolve on your end. Clearly incompetence runs amok therein.
