My phone got damaged last week and I decided to call MTN insurance to report and submit a claim to have it fixed or replaced.
On day one I was informed by the automated voice that i didnt qualify for the self service facility and had to wait for a consultant... I sat for 20min waiting, to no avail.
I called again on the next day sat for 30 min without a response, I called from my office line and mobile phone for the rest of the week with no different result. I decided to call the customer care centre, was assured by the consultant that they would send the claims department an email informing them that I required assistance. When I asked what the issue was, I was informed there was only ONE claims consultant! Its Thursday 13th June, a week later, I've had no one contact me and I've been unsuccessful in getting through this illusive department. I'm sitting in the morning side branch and have asked them to assist.
I arrived at 3pm, it's 3:40 right now and no one has answered their phone!

I AM LIVID! I cannot understand how MTN can only allocate one consultant to the claims department, they're branches do not provide temporary phones should you process the claim through a branch!!
