Contract approval estimate - Does no-one know?

I applied for a contract at MTN, Canal Walk (Entrance 1 branch). I was told it would take up to 24 hours for the request to complete, which is fine.

Went back to the shop after 24 hours, then I was informed it can take up to 48 hours.By a different consultant.

Phoned MTN after 48 hours, then I was told it can take up to 3-7 days?! Seriously?
Can't anyone give you the right answer?

Also, the consultants at this shop is terrible with customer service. They all seem miserable when talking to customers.
