The unhelpful assistant took over an hour to figure out how to port my old number from MTN. I was then told I had to come back a day later while they processed the request. It took two days before I was called in to purchase the contract.
I was then told to wait another 24 hours so my port request could be carried through. Three days have gone by and the request has still not been processed.
I have left messages for the assistant to call me back but he has not done so.
The shop itself is chaotic. The phone rings for hours. Not only are shop assistants poorly trained but the manager is clearly not coping.
I left MTN because of poor service but it seems Vodacom is even worse.
Is there a way to cancel my contract and go with another provider, since I have not yet been able to use it?
