I upgraded in April and took the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 on my Straight Up 100 contract. I was told that the contract comes with 100mb, the phone with another 300mb, and then I decided myself to take an additional 500mb bundle per month. The guy in the store set it all up and then put my phone on and helped me sort out my Google accounts etc.

What he DID NOT tell me, was that the 300mb and the 500mb only starts kicking in in July! I probably spent that ridiculous 100mb before even leaving the store, resulting in a bill over R900 and cell c cutting my account off a few days later WITHOUT my consent. When asked about it they say they did try to call me, but I didn't answer... How about trying again?

A lady at the Canal Walk store said this happened because my contract only kicks in in July. If that was so, then why can I already use the 100mb, which is the only part actually pertaining to the contract? And why can't I get my 500mb bundle immediately as it has nothing to do with my contract?

Please fix this!
