Impossible to cancel a contract _ service is bad

I went to the 8ta outlet in 4ways mall 3 months before my contract could expire and said I would like to cancel. They told me that you dnt need to do it now you can even do it a week before the contract expires. I was told that they dnt do cancelations at the branch and I need to call the call centre to do this. I called more than a month before cancellation date and requested the cancellation. Its been a month now and still no one has called me to say its been cancelled. Everytime I call I'm being told that the request is unattened to at the moment and someone will see to it. The service is pathetically disgusting. They are quick to take on contracts but its a problem to cancel.
