I want to cancel my contract PLEASE

On the 6th of July i called to cancel. I was assured i would receive an email confirming this. Lo and behold no email received in the 48 hr period. I called a week later, only to be assured the request to cancel had been noted, a follow up will be done and I would get an email to confirm the cancellation. A month after my request and i was told that no action was taken even though there is clear notification that it was requested. I then get told that the account will be cancelled by the end of September, HUH? what am i missing. How about cancelling this like NOW. I still haven't received my confirmation of any of the cancellation requests. The latest time i called i was transferred into a queue that went know where till being put back to customer services who transferred me to another black hole where i think my cancellation went to.

I am fully aware that i have to pay a handset fee in when i cancel the contract. I would gladly do it if someone could honestly do their job and let me complete my dealings with this company. PLEASE cancel my contract with you and tell me how much i owe so i go in peace.
