Good day..
My blackberry got a few weeks back, I got a sim-swop. I specifically asked the Vodacom sales agent how the data packages work. He assured me that I can buy prepaid bundles, to ensure I don't overspend. Which i did through FNB.
I checked my data usage last month as I saw I was close to 2GIG (my bundle size) as per my data counter on my phone. When confirming my statement amount, I received the shock of my life. A dataline bill of R4500.
I phoned the costumer care line (this I think is a cruel joke, as they do not care) to tell my, what I downloaded to justify such a huge bill. The call centre agent could only tell me that I downloaded 15GIG, but apparently what I downloaded she could not see. This is not possible, as I only use my data (which was prepaid to start with) for whatsapp.
The call centre agent advised me to contact Vodacom billing and raise a query, which I did. To no amazement no response.
What I want to know is:
* How is it possible to download 15GIG?
* What is the cost per GIG then?
This is blatant and arrogance from Vodacom thinking that I will not question this. I want someone to contact me and sort this out.
