I am so unhappy with the treatment over the past few years. I regarded myself as an excellent client to MTN and have been with them since 1993. My first contract and still have the same number. Like everyone we have ups and downs but have always paid my MTN account. I have needed help and service lately and left messages but never received a call and eventually gave up. I had account problems then I decided to do a top up on my two cell phones I have with MTN and told them what my budget was. I would spend an average amount every month and told MTN that I need to receive my bills via e-mail but never do, unless I phone and ask. I called the customer service department and told me my account this month is R800 more than usual and explained to them that I have a top up and was told that they made an era and should be paying more. I then told her to get accounts to contact me but was told they don't phone customers. I need to make payment don't want to pay the amount I normally pay because they will cut me off and I am in sales and depend on my phone. I am very upset because I feel they are a service industry but far as I'm concerned they just treat you like a number!!!
