Paying Service fees but receive no service

On 02/06/13 @10am we called Telkom to report a fault on our line and spoke to a guy by the name of Denny who logged the call he said that they would be send an sms with a reference number as proof that the call is logged, after 30min still no sms we then called back and spoke to a Promise who asked us to hold she got back to the phone and then advised us that she is logging the call and if we don't mind waiting she will provide us with the reference number which is 10CWZ020613. At 15pm this afternoon we called Telkom again as no technician has come out, they then advised that they can see that the call has been logged but they can't say when a technician will come out. This is unacceptable! Firstly there is the inconvenience not only to us but to our friends and family as well not too mention the fact that they need to foot the bill of calling us on our cellphones and the fact that they have no alternative method to get hold of us. Secondly we pay ridiculously high service charges for no service and are still expected to pay these service charges in full even though we have not received or have made use of the service/item in full. Not acceptable!
