9:57 23 August 2013 I logged a call with Telkom regarding my line that was down.

The following Monday, a technician called and arranged to meet me at the house, where he tested the line and found it to be faulty. He then advised me that he'll go to the Exchange and see for the fault there. On the 26th I got an SMS stating that "your Fault is in hand with our Technical repair division" I've been calling Telkom Daily. Each time they tell me that they can't tell me when the fault will be fixed, they make a note of my alternative contact number etc.

Its 2 September today, and I still have NO resolution to the issue on my telephone line.

If I had failed to pay my bill they would be quick to disconnect my service, but if they fail to provide a service, am I in a position to withhold payment for the time the line was down?

Every consultant I've spoken to 10210 gives me the same excuse!
