I have been with Autopage Cellular and Vodacom since some time in 1996 and I am now not a happy customer. I upgraded my contract from a Vodacom Talk 120 S to a Vodacom Smart M, from a Blackberry to an iPhone 5. Only to get a bill for R3550 for two weeks billing as they did not change my contract details from Talk 120 S to Smart M. The customer "care" centre then blames me for not turning off the cellular data function of an iPhone 5 and that is why the bill is so high. If you do this, the phone cannot access Facebook, What's App or any other apps for that matter, it becomes a phone and sms unit which is a total waste of time. They then say that the upgrade was 4 months early and they wont change the contract until the Talk 120 S has expired... in 4 months time. WTH!!?? Why upgrade and go through the process on the phone with them if you cannot have full use of the phone without paying the earth for it. And then they don't tell you this when you go through the upgrade process. I am now waiting for the powers that be at Autopage Cellular to listen to the "recorded upgrade conversation" and come back to me. If anyone at the company takes any initiative, they will look at this problem.
