Dismay & disgust at the service - or lack thereof

I wished to upgrade my contract and needed to complete the process by 31/12/12 as I pay through Discovery & I wished to retain the discount I get. I did the upgrade telephonically early in Dec and requested the Iphone 4 as no iPhone 5s were available. I went into Sandton City Autopage store some days later and was advised that the Iphone 5 was available. I requested to have the contract changed to get the new phone. The telephonic upgrade was cancelled but the new contract never updated despite many promises of this being done. When I called the shop on 07 Jan they said nothing had been upgraded due to there being no iPhone 5 units available. At NO point was I advised that I could only upgrade if actual units were available. The staff at the shop were completely unhelpful. This was escalated to customer services at the call centre and despite numerous calls NOTHING has been done. I have had a contract with this company since September 1999. I am disappointed noone can be bothered to keep me as a customer.
