We moved home on 31st May and on 15th May, put in a request for Telkom to come to the new place to install a new phone line. This was confirmed and I took the day off to be at home for the installation. Because i am a contractor, i do not get paid for the time off. Low and behold, they do not arrive on Friday. I call them and they say Saturday they are coming. U guessed it, Saturday they do not show up. After many calls back to them, they decide to show up today. When i spoke to the call centre, i requested an additional extension for upstairs. They tell me that I need to tell the technician when they come and they will install it and they don't put that on the physical order. Well of course, i take their word for it, thinking they know what they are doing. Technician arrives (3 days late might i add), and now only will install 1 line as the order says one line and no extension. Clearly SOMEONE at Telkom is wrong. So between loss of income for two days to stay at home for Telkom and now potentially another to get the extension installed, I am FURIOUS with the horrifying levels of lack of customer service!! What a shoddy company...
