On the 1st August 2013 i called the MTN customer service helpline and i was assisted by Thandeka Dube / Xesha. I explained to the lady the purpose of my call and asked her to assist me with doing a sim swap, she then in turn told me it wasn't possible for me to do that as the Sim card i'm using is not Rica'd. I explained to her that i bought the Sim from Pick n Pay Northgate and was then told there is no need for me to do the Rica process again as i have done it before and i'm only looking to do a Sim swap. i've done a sim swap before and this was after Rica was introduced and i never had any hussles.
