Bad/Slow 3G coverage from MTN

I have a galaxy note 2 contract with MTN, on 200 top up, I am from Mamelodi Pretoria, I am working in Revonia Sandton. I bought my phone last year December AND since then I haven't been able to make one 3G call. The network is always so slow where ever I am. Even when the is a 3G signal indicating on my phone. I was using a different network before and came to MTN because of the affordable contract price. WORST MISTAKE EVER!!! I am a computer engineer by trade, I am mentioning that to aware you that it's not some easy thing like setting up access points and all that. I have called the several times and still no change. Two of my colleague has Samsung S3s and even they are complaining about MTN network service. I feel like this a bridge of my contract with them because I have one of the best phones in the world but I cannot use it to my advantage
