Effectively dealt with complaint

After my previous complaint on HelloPeter about Vodacom handset insurance, I have had good service from Roderique Lategan who arranged that my iPhone be replaced at Vodacoms cost. I appreciated his quick responses, and the effort he went to to retain me as a Vodacom customer.
While I will keep my cell contract with Vodacom, I have decided to cancel my handset insurance with them and specify the phone on my short-term insurance with Santam from whom I have had excellent service. The key reason for this is that it concerns me that although insured with Vodacom there is obviously no integration between systems / departments and therefore their service on the Insurance side was very poor. Also, I am still concerned that Vodacom says it is "not allowed" to repair any Apple handsets, and that they have to be replaced despite the fact that repair would have cost less and created less waste. Everyone insured with Vodacom should be very cautious regarding their cover, particularly with iphones it would seem - something they do not tell you at all when you upgrade or buy an iphone from them!
