Telkom cannot find the faults on their own System!

About two months ago we were compelled to complain to Telkom about our ADSL line. Our internet connection was being regularly cut and reset (every 3-4 hours) and after talking to our service provider, the fault was traced to a Telkom switch box. We asked Telkom to fix the fault after enduring their nightmare call-centre and were given the routine run-around. 'No there is no fault'... reference number... repeated. Eventually they acknowledged the fault (but not the specifics), and since then we have had at least eight (that's right EIGHT), senior technicians assuring us on a weekly basis that our fault will be fixed. 'Clive', we're still waiting for you to make good on your promise. 'Walied' you too have disappeared into the wiring and we're still waiting... On getting angry at the incompetence and customer dissatisfaction Telkom provide, I was told angrily that they were a PROFESSIONAL organization. Really??? No repair. No service. No follow-up. No accountability. They don't even bother to check up afterward on whether the work has been done!!! Two months and we continue to endure this -poor service...
