Incompetent and shocking service delivery

I moved to a new place of residence in December 2012 and cancelled my ADSL subscription and Telkom line at the beginning of that month. i then applied for a new line to be installed at my new residence which was never done. Since then Telkom has deducted monthly installments of R200 per month via debit order without a line being installed. i have subsequently cancelled my application for a new line in February 2013 and have been following up the issue regularly since then. the logs reflect my lodging calls to get this problem resolved between 20 and 28 times since December.

I have phoned numerous times and am utterly disgusted with the lack of response from Telkom, poor level of service and general incompetence of all the staff that I've dealt with in trying to resolve this issue.

Since Telkom has received my cancellation notice, they have been deducting money from my account illegally and without my consent. Not only is this tantamount to but is in violation of the Consumer Protection Act.
