Bad service vodacom

I'm due for an upgrade so thought I'll go in store and find out what available offers they have and the reason I went was I wanted to actually speak with someone. To my amazement when I asked for help the first thing the sales assistant did was to hand me a brochure to read and he just continued with whatever he was doing!! I've been with Vodacom along time and loyal customer and I thought it was unacceptable. Without wanting to make a scene I just left the store.
