Overdue on delivery of handset

I did an upgrade on my current contract on 8 May, the operator who called me assured me that the phone will be delivered in 5 working days. On the 17th, which is 7 working days later I called them back to follow up on the delivery, just to be told that the phone has been reserved, but not yet invoiced an that I should "JUST BE PATIENT"!!!
