Too long to approve new mtn contract

I applied last Thursday (7 days ago) for a new mtn contract. I was told 3-5 business days for approval. 5 business days have passed and I stil haven't heard anything. Repeated emails to the consultant at the store have not elicited a response. Feel like canceling.
