I took out a data contract that was on promotion two months ago. I am not receiving any data usage reports and no one can tell me what is my data rate. I logged a call on Monday to get an itemized billing. I was told today that the call was closed because I there was no alternate number. The lady promised to log one today using the same information on Monday. I phoned this afternoon to check another very cheeky lady told me it was closed because I did not send my id copy. I do not which is which, anyway I phoned cancellations to cancel the contract because of this to and fro and lack of information. I was sent a quote for cancellation. I googled CPA and it clearly states that I can be charged for the services used and any reasonable charges (in my case that would be the SIM card and the dongle) if I give you 20 days. The cancellation lady is disputing this fact and say I need to pay about R750 for early cancellation. She also cannot give me a breakdown. Please review and cancel.
