This morning at 0928 i received a text from Telkom SA advising me that they are going to debit my bank account on 2013/04/25 with R1405.27
i called the call centre enquiring about this exhorbitant amount as i am not in arrears
the call centre agent rattled off that i made calls, sent texts and used data. this i found to be irrelevant cos i am on a saver plan and not on an open contract
the call centre agent proceeded to tell me that i have been overcharged but will investigate further
he could not help me so referred me to the billing department where i was assisted by Bongani who also rattled off the same information about voice calls, etc.
again i mentioned that i am on a saver plan which is a top up so when the contracted air time is depleted i recharge myself
he then promised to look into it and to call back with an answer. needless to say, i am still waiting for him to call me
i called 8ta again today just after 1900 and was told by the call centre agent that i have an added on device
which we all three know i do not have cos Gravell told me, after being told i could migrate, that i am unable to migrate and get a new device
she then logged a case 5295189
