When you pay your account off in full

A lady called and arranged with me to put all amounts owed to Vodacom into one lump sum and I pay off every month.

What she did is put me on ITC and then tell ITC I have not paid for the last 9 months.( I have receipts to prove I have paid). ITC have on their records I have not paid anything to Vodacom for 9 months.

I asked for a statement to be printed so I could pay off my account with Vodacom.

I paid off the statement and then they have other amounts they still want, not reflected on any statement.

I have put a dispute through ITC and have forwarded the documents.

Now I have to wait 20 working days for ITC to resolve the situation (in which I feel that I have paid ahead of my contract and have to wait a additional 20 days to correct my account). ITC have informed me that I should move this to the Ombudsmun.

Very frustrating since I have had a flawless record until now and Vodacom customer service must be the worst.

I would recommend that customers look else where if they knew the treatment I have received. Not only have I called and waited on managers for 30 minutes but also I have asked to be called back with no response.
