Earlier this year I cancelled my plantet fitness membership using their website. Once I requested cancellation, a screen appeared saying that the message had been sent.

I gave advanced notice as my contract was expiring soon and requested that it should not be renewed.

Recently I realized that they still had been debiting my account and subsequently I posted once again and asked about the cancellation.

I was contacted a day later by Lizette Van Loggerenberg and I informed her that I had cancelled already and that it was not unreasonable for them to refund the premiums. I told her that on their records they should be able to see that I haven't been to the gym in months and that they must search using my email address for my initial request to cancel my membership once my contract had expired.

Today I receive a very abrupt and rude email as follows, "If you can't proof that you have cancelled before I will not be able to refund you."

How on earth am I supposed to PROVE I sent a mail when the only way to contact Planet Fitness is through THEIR website. I expect her to do her job and find the email or make an arrangement to fix this! She's basically called me a!
