Vehicle and Laptop

Over the past two years there has been a vast number of vehicle thefts (15) and Laptop thefts from vehicles (50) at the Rooihuiskraal Virgin Active. My vehicle was from the club in November 2012 Club incident reference VAPL - 761 - 09648, the club manager Jaun Swarts sent me a letter just to inform me that the club was aware of the incident. In further verbal communication he ensured me that security would be increased and gave decent assistance in supplying my insurance with information and video surveillance of the incident. Over the December period there was a visible difference in security but since January this has dwindled.

We have had another vehicle at the club yesterday 27 February 2013 and the blame is now being redirected at the landlord of the complex from which they rent. Club members have also had incidents of security guards harassing them for tips for looking after vehicles whilst members attend the club.

As a very regular member who enjoys training at this club for the past 5 years I would hate to move to another club due to lack of security for my own vehicle and those of fellow members.
