My fiance got a gym membership from Bongani in April 2012at the Boksburg Virgin Active, in July we converted to Discovery Medical aid and we were told we just need to pay the activation fee to convert the membership to Vitality. Bongani told my fiance that both our activation fees were sorted out and paid. Now, 7 months later we are still paying R539 for the original gym membership. The sales manager, Chris could not help me and it is pretty much their mistake that we were told it was sorted out, but every month it still gets deducted after my fiance has been there 3 times to sort it out. it seems like it is either black or white with Chris, he rehearsed the same thing to me 4 times -Either pay the activation fee or 30% cancelation fee. there is nothing he can do, although we were told that me and fiance's activation fee was paid, although mine was never and they could never inform us this, so basically, R3773 we have paid instead of just the R800 activation fee for the vitality activation. How poor is this service? I am so dissapointed in Chris and Bongani with regards to this. Sorry Virgin, but this has left me a very disgruntled customer and I am sure to tell all of this incident
