My partner and I wanted to transfer our memberships from bedfordview to benoni as it was closer for us as we had moved. We were told to email the customer service department as they didn't want us calling them. More than a month went by without a response to my emails, I put a read receipt on my emails so I know they were read. On the 17/01/2014 we finally received a response stating we must fill out the forms and pay R150 for our memeberships to be transferred. Honestly it's not even worth it as our contracts end this year. I will give notice and cancel all existing contracts and never use your facilities again. Your industry is customer service orientated and the lack of service we received is unbelievable. I would much rather go to a competitors branch than extend my membership with Planet Fitness.
